What is Somatic Coaching?

As a Somatic Coach, I support you in moving out of survival mode and into a place of embodied self connection, regulation and safety.

My work is rooted in the belief that true healing and transformation happens when you have the freedom to authentically align with the things that are most meaningful and unique to you.

Many of the people I work with have been living in a constant state of stress— navigating chronic anxiety, fear, or emotional overwhelm. They may feel disconnected from themselves, stuck in old thought patterns, or unsure how to shift subconscious behaviors that no longer serve them.

Through a somatic approach, I hold space for you to gently reconnect with yourself on a deeper level— physically, emotionally, and spiritually— so you can feel more present, empowered, and whole.

The work is not about fixing you, because you are not broken. It’s about coming into the right relationship with yourself, so you can fully access your innate wisdom and feel a consistent state of inner peace.

Here's what such a session might look like:

  • Our sessions begin with grounding techniques to help you become aware of your body’s current state. We’ll explore how stress or emotions show up in your body, whether as tension, discomfort, or other visceral sensations.

    By using breathwork and body scanning we connect with the present moment and actively engage the parasympathetic system. This biochemically demonstrates to your body that you are safe and capable of addressing stressful things.

  • Next, we will explore how your body communicates with you when you are navigating life events.

    Throughout our sessions we will examine areas of your life where you are reacting from a state of stress and start relating to them differently. For some this might look like addressing: work and personal life balance, relationships with people, finances, food, spirituality, finding your sense of purpose, learning how to emotionally support yourself and your family or curating mindfulness and self care tools.

    By building awareness around your unique experiences with genuine curiosity, you ultimately foster the foundation for a deep, and meaningful relationship with yourself.

  • As you consciously honor your body’s signals inside and outside of our sessions, a grounded sense of inner safety is developed. From this place, you build trust in yourself— your choices, your feelings, your intuition— and begin living from a place of rooted confidence and authenticity.

    Together, our work will restructure how you speak and treat yourself, create healthy boundaries in all the areas of your life, and bring alignment towards a slower, more intentional lifestyle keeping you out of chronic survival mode.
